MTM Hydro's Premium Threadlock Joint Sealant is an upgraded method to keep your joints leak free. This sealant will last quite while as you replace old fittings and apply only a few drops to pressurized threads. Any pressurized threads should receive a joint sealant of some kind whether you choose Teflon Tape or Thread Lock. Both Medium and Strong threadlock are meant to allow fitting and accessories to be uninstalled although the 'Strong' version may require a vice. Allow 24 hours for the threadlock compound to set and dry for optimal sealing power and you will be worry free that your system will not leak. Teflon Tape is easy but MTM Hydro's Threadlock is secure and has an excellent track record in eliminating leaks as its liquid state penetrates threads and acts as a glue.

For home owners, a small 10mL bottle will last years. For shops that install fittings and service pressure washers, a large 9oz bottle may last weeks.

For NPT and BSP threads, MTM Hydro recommends 2-3 drops of Threadlock.
